1. Introduction

At Celestial Hostings ("we," "our," or "us"), we are committed to delivering high-quality digital services and ensuring complete client satisfaction. However, due to the nature of our services — which include domain registration, web hosting, custom software development, digital marketing, and creative content production — we operate a strict no-refund policy.

By purchasing any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy. This policy applies to all services provided by Celestial Hostings, whether delivered as one-time projects or recurring subscriptions.

2. General Policy — No Refunds

All payments made to Celestial Hostings are final and non-refundable and non exchangeable for other services. We do not issue refunds for any services once they have been delivered, activated, or work has commenced, regardless of the circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Inability or unwillingness to use the purchased service.
  • Change of mind, business strategy, or project direction.
  • Dissatisfaction with the service delivery or outcome, provided the service was delivered as per the agreed scope.
  • Technical difficulties or compatibility issues arising from third-party platforms or user-side errors.

All applicable taxes, including GST (18%), are non-refundable in all cases.

3. Domain Registration

Domain registration services are provided through accredited registrars. Once a domain is registered, it becomes your exclusive property for the duration of the registration period. However, domain registrations are strictly non-refundable because the registry does not offer refunds to resellers.

  • No refunds will be issued for domain registrations, renewals, or transfers.
  • If you cancel your domain before the expiry date, you will not receive a partial or full refund for the remaining period.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure the domain name is correct and available before completing the purchase.

4. Web Hosting

Web hosting services are billed in advance for the chosen billing cycle (monthly, annual, or multi-year). Hosting fees are non-refundable once the service period has commenced.

  • If you cancel your hosting plan, your service will terminate at the end of the current billing cycle, but no refund will be provided for the unused portion.
  • We encourage you to thoroughly review our hosting features and specifications before signing up.
  • If your hosting is suspended due to a violation of our Terms and Conditions, no refund will be issued.

5. Custom Development, Design & Photography

Projects involving custom website development, software development, graphic design, photography, and videography require significant resource allocation and time investment from the moment they are initiated.

  • No refunds will be issued once a project has been confirmed and work has commenced, even if the project is canceled mid-way.
  • For projects paid in milestones, each milestone is billed for the work completed up to that point and is strictly non-refundable.
  • If you choose to terminate a project after it has begun, you will be responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date. No refunds will be provided for deposits or installments already paid.

6. Digital Marketing & SEO

Digital marketing services, including SEO, PPC, social media management, and email marketing, are provided on a retainer or project basis.

  • Retainer fees are non-refundable for any period that has already been billed, regardless of whether the services were fully utilized.
  • If you choose to pause or cancel your marketing retainer, you must provide notice before the next billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for the current billing period.
  • We do not guarantee specific results (e.g., specific rankings, traffic numbers, or conversion rates) for SEO or marketing services. The dynamic nature of search algorithms and ad platforms makes such guarantees impossible.

7. Third-Party Costs

Some of our services involve costs paid to third-party providers (e.g., domain registrars, SSL certificate authorities, ad platforms, software licensors). These costs are passed through to you at the same rate we pay them. These third-party fees are non-refundable as we cannot recover them once paid.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

While we maintain a strict no-refund policy, we may, at our sole discretion, consider a refund only if:

  • A service has been billed but absolutely no work has commenced and we are notified within 24 hours of the payment.
  • We are unable to provide a service that was explicitly promised in writing and the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe.

Even in these exceptional cases, approval is not guaranteed and is entirely at our discretion. Any approved refund will be processed within 5-7 business days after the request is reviewed and approved.

Any refunds that may be granted will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase, minus any applicable transaction fees incurred by Celestial Hostings.

9. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancelling a service does not automatically entitle you to a refund. You may cancel your account or services at any time. However, cancellation will only stop future billing cycles; it does not trigger a refund for services already paid for.

To cancel a recurring service, you must notify us in writing at least 7 days before the next billing date.

10. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to override or limit your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable Indian law. If any provision of this Refund Policy is found to be inconsistent with applicable law, that provision shall be interpreted in a manner that best reflects the intent of the parties while complying with the law.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Refund Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions set forth in our Terms and Conditions. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Punjab, India.
